The Kingdom of Heaven is happening in real time. As believers when we profess the Christian creeds (Nicene and Apostle’s), we become the kingdom. That means we are concerned for those people the world leaves behind. God wants us to care about other people as we traverse our way through our own routine agendas, or read and hear about discontent in our country and other parts of the world. He wants us to show compassion and offer help when there are areas of struggle in our community and in cultures that we do not understand. And most importantly God wants us to use whatever gifts he gives us to manifest his greatness. Jesus Christ used a number of parables to explain to us that the Kingdom is; never that it was or will be. Heaven refers to the place we hope for after death, while kingdom refers to God’s will here on earth. Selah
